Rosa Lee Smith, 75, of Fort Wayne passed away Monday, May 19, 2025, at her home in Fort Wayne. She was born on August 3, 1949, in Marion, Alabama, the daughter of James and Alma (Rogers) Edwards. She married Washington Smith, Jr.

Rosa enjoyed working outside, shopping and loved being at home. She turned tough days into good days by rearranging her furniture.

Rosa is survived by her daughter Anglaique Smith; stepdaughters Pastor Barbara (Rev. Michael) England and Shaunda Smith; stepson Lorenzia (Christine) Smith; brothers Nathaniel (Minnie) Edwards, Harold Edwards, Peter Edwards and Joe Edwards and a sister Alma Reed and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Washington Smith Jr., stepson Darryll Smith, stepdaughter Beverly Mitchell.

There will be a graveside service celebrating Rosa's life at 1:00 PM, Monday June 2, 2025, at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens following the service.
