Rose Mary Diem, 90, died Thursday June 10, 2010 at the Renaissance Village. Born Aug. 29, 1919 in New Philadelphia, OH she graduated High School and was on the girls swim and diving teams. Was runner up as Fort Wayne Senior Olympics in shot put. Written up in Fort Wayne newspaper for Home Economics techniques. Excellent gardner and active at the S.W. Assembly of God Church. Went on a mission trip to Guatemala. Surviving are daughter, Karen (Eddie) Marvin, sons, Steve (Diane) Diem, and Tom (Laveta) Diem, sister, Barbara Martin and 6 grandchildren, Sara, Nicholas, Katherine Diem, Michelle Bollinger, Christopher, and David Marvin. She was preceded in death by a daughter, 3 brothers, and a sister. Services are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday with calling 1 hour prior to service at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd.
