Rosemary Taper, 86, passed away peacefully at home on April 23, 2025. She was born in Canonsburg, PA on October 26, 1938, a daughter of the late John and Mary Fisher.

She worked as a manager at H&R Block for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She was an avid reader and in her earlier years enjoyed golfing and bowling. She and her husband enjoyed vacationing to Bonita Springs, FL, their favorite trip being the three week vacation they took out West. She also enjoyed camping with her family, the would go every weekend.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jim Taper; children, Carla (James) Booker, James (Laura) Taper Jr.; seven grandchildren, Joseph Taper, Blaine Taper, Brandon Robbins, Selena Willis, Stephanie Myers, Sarah Westbrook, and Sandra Garza ; five great-grandchildren, Ryann Adams, Austin Bray, Collyn Willis, Elijah Garza, and Connor Westbrook; siblings, Brenda Cox and John (Linda) Fisher.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Darla Robbins and grandson Eric Robbins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804 with calling held one hour prior and a rosary to be said at 9:30.

Burial will take place in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for final expenses.
