Roy Kenneth Saylor, 83, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  He was born August 9, 1935 in Ft. Wayne to the late Joshua and May (Swihart) Saylor.  Roy drove bus for the South West Allen County School District since 1982 and retired in 2000.  He was a veteran of the United State Army and a member of the Anthony Wayne Church of God.  For 40 years he was active with the South West Fire District.

On August 31, 1963 he married Carolyn L. (Littlefield) Saylor who survives along with their children Duane Saylor, Denise (Tony) Thompson, Lisa (Thomas) Vevia, 4 grandchildren, David, Daniel, Justin, Rebecca, 5 great-grandchildren, Blake, Ellison, Olivia, Benedict and a little girl due in November, along with a sister-in-law Faye Saylor.  Roy was preceded in death by a brother Clarence, 2 sisters Joan Leslie and Violet Bellis.

The family held a private funeral at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
