Roy E. Tracy, 86, of Auburn, Formerly of Fort Wayne, and Big Lake, died Thursday July 26, 2007 at Laurel''s of Dekalb in Butler. He was born May 5, 1921 in Jasper County, ILL. He was a WW II Army Air Corp Veteran and had worked for Slater Steel for 32 years. He is survived by sons, Terry (Jo) Tracy of Auburn, Scott (Suzi) Tracy of Roanoke; daughter, Judy Summers of Fort Wayne; sister, Evon Weaver of Nashville, IN; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcella O. Tracy on June 23, 2007. Service Tuesday 11 a.m. with calling one hour prior at Covington Memorial Funeral home 8408 Covington Rd. Calling also 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Grace Christian Church.
