Ruth Marie Buuck, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Parkview Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Mathilda Nord (Doctor). She retired from Plibrico Sales & Service. She was an active member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church; volunteered in the church office for many years making the weekend bulletins for services and also volunteered for Worship for Shut-Ins. Since 3rd grade she and a group of ladies meet every month, they called themselves the CKU Club.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jerry and Cindy Buuck of Fort Wayne; daughters and sons in law, Beverly and Donald McCloud of Chugiak, Alaska and Linda and Robert Flint of Copper Center, Alaska; sister and brother in law, Martha and Al Rodeck; sister in law, Carol Nord; and five sweet granddaughters, Sarah McCloud, Rylee Flint, Bonnie, Melissa and Hayley Buuck; brothers in law and sister in law, Tom Brown and Al and Dru Buuck.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Buuck, 1963; her brother, Harold Nord; brothers and sisters in law, Bill and Ginny Andresen, Vern and Marty Buuck and Dorothy Brown.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Ave., with calling one hour prior to service. Calling is also 2-4 and 6-8 Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials are to Worship for Shut-Ins.
