Ruth e. Porter, 99, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her home. She was born April 6, 1914 in Roanoke, IN to the late Don and Edna Fisher Dewitt. Ruth and her loving husband were dairy farmers

Surviving are her children, Thelma (Ernest) "Randy) Randolph, sister, Francil D. Hand, daughter-in-law, Mary Squires, grandchildren, Ricky (Roxie), Randy (Sue), Danny (Cheryl), Billy, Bobby (Rhonda), Missy Porter, and Terry Biddle, Kay Klopfenstein and Rosalie Biddle-Hunt, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Porter in 1974 and son Don Porter and a sister Audra.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
