Ruth E. Fritz, 86, died Saturday October 13, 2012. She was born March 19, 1926 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Emir and Helen Yoder. Ruth was a secretary for General Electric for 39 years retiring in 1988. She is a member of Ft. Wayne Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Wayne Fritz, son, Thomas (Linda) Fritz, daughter, Carol (Michael) Perry, 3 grandchildren, Adam, Ryan, Amy, 7 great-grandchildren, Noah, Wyatt, Madison, Lila, Joel, Josie, Mitchell and sister, Barbara Altic. Service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 17, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. There is also calling 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred memorial to Fort Wayne Baptist Church.
