Ruth M. Mutton, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior on, Saturday, December 19, 2015.

Ruth was born, January 18, 1923 in Fort Wayne; she was the daughter of the late Herman and Louise Lunz. Ruth graduated from Elmhurst High School, class of 1941. She worked at General Electric during World War II. Ruth was a life-long member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her children; Jim (Kathy) Mutton, Brent (Sue) Mutton, Bob (Linda) Mutton all of Fort Wayne and Janis (Steve) Goffinet of Lafayette; sister, Margaret Tryznka; sister-in-law, Helen Herman; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Ray J Mutton, in 1999; sister, Dorothy Ehresmann; and brothers, Herbert, Edward, Albert and Donald Lunz.

Funeral service is 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 917 W. Jefferson Blvd, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is from 3:30 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
