Ruth Eileen Aughbaugh Moyer was born August 2,1925 to John and Ethel (Hildebran)  Aughbaugh and graduated from Lostcreek High School, Casstown, Ohio, in 1943. She worked in the time study department at Hobart Manufacturing in Troy, Ohio, before marrying Raymond Moyer of Troy on April 11, 1947. She died April 11, 2018 on their 71st anniversary.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Judith (Gene) Overholser of Fletcher, Ohio; William (Barbara Moore) Moyer of Auburn, Indiana; and Jane (Tim) Shown of Spencer, Indiana. She has eight grandchildren: Sherry Overholser Miller, Amy Overholser Hawkins, David Overholser, Seth Overholser, Kimberly Moyer Armstrong, Gregory Moyer, Joshua Shown, and Jordan Shown. She also has eighteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, June (Raymond) Keim, a sister in law Evelyn Madigan, and many nieces and nephews. She loved her children and grand and great grand children as well as enjoying reading, decorating, shopping, jig saw puzzles, and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Donald, and Rev Olan Aughbaugh, and 3 sisters: Lorene(Dick) Penrod, Margaret(Edward) Keim, and Jean (Raymond) Wenrick.

Services will be conducted by Pastor Debra Meuter at 11:00 am Saturday April 14, 2018 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Ft Wayne with viewing 1 hour prior to service.
