Ruth Marie Witsaman, 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Heritage Park Nursing Home. She was born on September 8, 1927 in Crystal Lake, IL to Arthur and Martha Harnden, who preceded her in death. Ruth was a retired registered nurse from Ft. Wayne State Developmental Center. She is survived by her children Paul (LaRae) of Ft. Worth, TX; Lynda Witsaman of Camarillo, CA; and John (Frances) of Ft. Wayne, IN; four grandchildren Cody, Callie, Skyler, and Elijah; and step-grandchildren Nick and Rebecca Wallace. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia. A celebration of life gathering will be held Friday between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd.
