Ruth Lotz Yentes, 87, of Fort Wayne, died July 23, 2007 at home. Born Feb. 4, 1920, she was a graduate of North Side High School in 1938, a member of First Christian Disciples of Christ Church, and a member of Delta Sigma Kappa-Alpha Zeta Chapter Sorority. She worked at GE, FWCS Waynedale Elementary Cafeteria, and retired from Bowmar Instruments after 14 years of service. She is survived by her husband Paul Yentes; son, Steven (Suzanne Bragg) Yentes of Fort Wayne; daughters, Cynthia Yentes (Richard) Corey of Conway, MA, and Linda Yentes (Greg) Wiley of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Benjamin and Molly Meece, Erin Whittle, Danielle Dippel and Kevin Corey; three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernst & Myrtle Lotz; brother, George Lotz; sisters, Maggie Lotz, Henrietta Borton, Vera Krill, and Virginia Taylor. Service Friday 2 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Calling Thursday 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
