Sally Lewis, 79, passed away on May 3, 2023. She was born in Michigan on August 3, 1943, a daughter of the late George and Dorothy Silkworth.
She retired from Magnavox from the purchasing department. Sally loved playing cards and farkle with her friends at Silver Birch. One of her favorite pastimes was going to the casinos and gambling.
She is survived by her son, Donald (Myra) Lewis Jr. and Kenneth Lewis; grandchildren, Stephanie (Sam) Pope and Donnie (Morgan) Lewis III; great-grandchildren, Reagan Pope and Clark Lewis; and siblings, Kenneth Silkworth and William Silkworth.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Donald Lewis Sr.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8404 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804, with calling two hours prior.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alara Caring Hospice or Silver Birch Assisted Living.
Burial will take place in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
