Sandra L. “Sandy” Armstrong, 77, of Auburn, passed away on September 7, 2026. She was born in Fort Wayne on January 15, 1949, to Leonard Sr. and Patricia Felger.

Sandy loved her dogs, Skippy and Sophie, and enjoyed garage sales, thrifting, searching for treasures, gardening, and crafting. She especially cherished spending time with family and friends at the family cottage on Hamilton Lake. Sandy was also one of the first women in Fort Wayne to receive her motorcycle endorsement and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Surviving are her two daughters, Alicia (Shawn) Tuttle and Amanda (Ryan) Warren; six grandchildren, Misty Rhodes, Drake (Bree) Landes, Austin Pfliedner, Rhianna Armstrong, Kraig Smith, and Vincent Rhodes; seven great-grandchildren, Aidan (Chloe), Breanna, Brianna, Wayne, Bailey, Layla, and Luka; one great-great-grandchild, Roman; and siblings, Barb (Tom) Buck, Leonard Felger, Don (Kathy) Felger, Valerie Wagner, and Karen (Tom) Freed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her life partner, Skip Codling; brother-in-law, Mike Wagner; and her beloved fur baby, Charlie.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne.
