Sandra L. Arney, 63, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, Aug 2, 2006 at her residence. She was born Nov, 20 1942 in Fort Wayne. She was former owner of Sandy''s Suds Laundry Mat in Waynedale and had also worked for Scott Food''s and was a former model. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a chairman of the door greeter and welcoming committee and was also a member of JC wife''s organization. Her hobbies were bowling, playing cards, collecting owls, porcelain dolls, sports, traveling, cooking and observing nature. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Robert Arney of Fort Wayne; son and daughter in law, Andrew and Kelly Arney of Markle; brother, Timothy Croft of Albion; sister, Mary Stewart of Thonotosassa, Fl; and four grandchildren; Jami, Alex, Samantha and Becca. A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday with visitation one hour prior at Trinity United Methodist Church 609 Putnam Street. Visitation also 6-9 p.m. Friday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
