Sandra J. Diss, 79, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Parkview Regional Hospital, in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Sandra was a daughter to the late Warren L. and Betty J. (Faudree) Kunkel. She was a 1962 graduate from South Side High School. Sandra worked for Triple Crown Services for 8 years, retiring in 2005. Sandra was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family. Surviving are her children, Jennifer J. (Robert) Nicholson and Melissa (Scott) Hayes; siblings, Nancy (James) Hall, Debby Kjellin, Dennis Kunkel, and Judy Brudi; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11:30am, Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation also, Monday, April 17, 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
