Rev. Scott Andrew Christensen, 58 went home to his Heavenly Father, Friday, April 1, 2016. He was born July 7, 1957 in Pekin, IL to Donald K. and the late Joyce B. Christensen. On August 1, 1981 Scott married the love of his life Patti Allen Christensen who preceded him in death. Scott was ordained in
the International Lutheran Fellowship, serving most recently at the Woodburn Missionary Church as visitation pastor and Chaplain at St. Joseph Hospital and Faith Based Mentoring. Scott was formerly licensed in the
Assembly's of God, and is a certified Chaplain for Lutheran Hospital. Other organizations that over the years Scott was active in, Faith Based Board member / Mentor Program, visitation pastor for Pekin llnited Methodist
Church from age 13 to 19, student pastorate at Berea Christian Church and visitation and organist for; Fountain Green Presbyterian Church, Ft. Wayne First Assembly Church of God, Oakwood Assembly Church of God, First Pentecostal Assembly Church of God, Ottumwa, Iowa, New Haven lJnited Methodist Church. Scott was an Army Veteran.

Surviving are his children, Andrew Michael ( Courtney) Christensen, Heidi Lynn Christensen, granddaughter, Aria Grace Christensen, father, Donald K. Christensen, step-mother Jacqueline Christensen, sister, Christy Lynn (Michael) Bushong, step-sister, Rhonda (Kirk) Woiwode, step-brother, Roger (Karen) Thomas. He was preceded in death by his wife Patti Jo (Allen) Christensen on January 23, 1992, mother, Joyce (Everetts)
Christensen, nephew Todd Schaefer, step-brother, Kevin Thomas and his in laws, Rev. Richard and Gladys Allen.

Funeral service is 11 :00 a.m. Thursday April 7, 2016 at the Woodburn Missionary Church 5108 Bull Rapids Rd. Woodburn, IN 46797 with viewing one hour prior to service. There will also be viewing 2-4 and 6-8
p.m. Wednesday April 6, 2016 at the church. Burial will be in Andrews Riverside Cemetery, Andrews, IN. Preferred memorials are to Woodburn Missionary Church Chapel Fund.
