Sharon "Sue" Garver 86, passed through the firmament into Heaven on May 29 just in time to have supper with Jesus.  Born May 17, 1937  in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Turner and Florence Whittenberger. A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, she graduated from Elmhurst High School class of 1955. She was a wonderful Mother and raising her 5 children was her top priority. She worked hard her entire life in various jobs including a carhop at Gardners Restaurant, driving a school bus for Fort Wayne Community Schools, managing a Dairy Queen, working as a secretary for Zollner Corporation. She retired as Executive Secretary for the President and Vice President of ITT in 2010. She was a lifelong member of the Eastern Star, Waynedale Chapter. She was a seamstress and cherished the memories of growing up with her Grandparents on their farm in Bluffton. She was strong and instilled Godly values in her children and many grandchildren, and prayed for them daily.   "She watches over the affairs of her household"  "Her children arise and call her Blessed" We love you Mom and will see you again. Sue is survived by her 5 children, Pamela (Bruce) DeBolt, Roanoke, IN; Penelope (Larry) Zent, Roanoke, IN; Scott Garver, Fort Wayne; Lance (Nanette) Garver, Stephens City, VA; Amber (Cisco) Lozano, Fort Wayne, IN; 18 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; Sister, Cheri Turner.  She was preceeded in death by her parents, sister, Beverly Gearhart; Grandson, Luke Garver; Grandson, Keihland Haft; Great Grand-daughter, Addison Hartman and her former husband, Jerry Garver. Family will meet Friday morning June 2nd. Services are June 7, 2023 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation from 6-8pm with services starting around 8:00pm.
