Sharon A. Grepke, 85, a lifelong resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away on April 27, 2026, at her home with family by her side. She was born on January 16, 1941, in Fort Wayne, Sharon led a life marked by dedication to her community, family, and faith.

Sharon's commitment to service was evident throughout her life. Alongside her husband of 61 years, Bill Grepke, she managed St. Andrews Soup Kitchen for approx. 15 years, providing nourishment and support to those in need within the community. As a charter member of the United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne, Sharon was deeply engaged in her faith community, consistently exemplifying the values of kindness and fellowship.

A woman of diverse interests, she was an ardent fan of IPFW Volleyball and held a special affection for the Indiana Hoosiers.

Sharon’s family was central to her life. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Bill; their son Jason Grepke and his wife Ericka; grandchildren Tyler Grepke and his wife Autumn, Ila Grepke, and Kaiya Grepke; and great-grandson Myles. She also leaves behind two brothers, Richard Brinkman and his wife Ruby, and Marshall Brinkman and his wife Donna. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Velma Brinkman.

A Celebration of Sharons life will be held on May 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. The burial will follow on May 6, 2026, at Covington Memorial Gardens at 12:00 PM.
