Sharon Darlene Hoffman, 77, died August 28, 2018 at her home in Carmel, Indiana.  She was born March 6, 1941 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Roy and LaVern Patterson.  Sharon was a former member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Fort Wayne and current member of Cornerstone Lutheran Church, in Carmel.

Surviving is her husband Paul Hoffman; children, Terri (John) Harris, Paul Norman (Jeanne) Hoffman, Janet (Tommy) Nierman, Jean (Rick) Sholl, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, son-in-law, John Pepple; sister-in-law, Cindi Patterson.


Sharon was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Pepple; her brother, David Patterson; and a grandson.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, calling also 2 hours prior to service.  Officiating will pastor Reed Lessing.  Calling is 4-7 p.m., Friday, September 7, at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
