Sharon Kay Meredith, 77, of Fort Wayne passed away Tuesday, February 09, 2021 at Parkview Randallia Hospital.  She will be remembered for her loving and caring heart.  Sharon was born December 2, 1943 in Hicksville Ohio and was the eldest daughter of the late Chalmer and Mary Ellen (Rude) Beaty.  She worked for 33 years for Magnavox and eight years for Stuart Manufacturing before retiring.  Surviving is her husband, Mahlon Gene Meredith; son, James L. (Cheryl) Collett; Steven W. (Cheryl) Meredith,  four  step-children, Sandy (Darrell) Cates, Cathy Newcomer, James E. (Anna) Collett Jr.,  and Dawn M. Schultz; three brothers, Larry W. (Jan) Beaty, Danny L. (Kathryn) Beaty and Ricky L. (Rita) Beaty; three sisters, Sue Ann (David) Beard, Dawn Renee Drudge, and Brenda Joy Smith, 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  Private services are Friday, February 12, 2021 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd.  Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
