Sharon A. Tigges 66 died at her home Sunday April 24, 2011 surrounded by her family. Born in Ft. Wayne to the late Thompson L. and Janet E. Menzie, Sharon worked at G.E. 35 years retiring in 1997. Surviving are her husband, M. Thomas Tigges, Ft. Wayne, IN, daughter, Terrilyn (Joseph) Flanigan, Ft. Wayne, IN, sons Tom (Beth) Tigges, Ft. Wayne, IN, Jim (Vicki Grable) Tigges, Ft. Wayne, IN, brothers, John Menzie, Ed Fritz, sisters, Barbara Taylor, Nancy Shafer, three grandchildren Cody Michael, Ty Mahlon and Olivia Jordan. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday April 28 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 30 minutes prior to service. There is also calling 2-4 6-8 Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Preferred Memorials to Visiting Nurse and Hospice or Cancer Services of Allen Co.
