Sharron C. Thompson, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014. She was born December 28, 1948 in Camden, NJ to the late Henry and Catherine Jackson. Sharron retired from Superior Essex after 38 years in Metals Procurement. She was passionate about her family, quilting and sewing as well as an avid reader. She loved time at the lake.

Surviving are her husband of 45 years, David Thompson, son, Michael (Candice) Thompson, granddaughter, Rosie Thompson, brother, James Jackson, niece, Monday Makin Lopez, nephew, Mark (Amber Munoz) Makin, James Jackson, special great-niece, Zamatha Mulder, sisters in law, Linda Thompson, Sharon (Victor) Siebeneck. Sharron was preceded in death by her mother in law, Erma Miller and brother in law, John Makin.

Service is 1:00 p.m. Wednesday July 30, 2014 at Parkwood Church of God, 3320 Trier Rd. with calling 30 minutes prior to service. There is also calling 4-8 p.m. Tuesday July 29, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana.
