Shirley Ayers, 85, passed away April 16, 2021. Born in Ft. Wayne, IN she was the daughter of Wesley and Kathlyn (McPherson) Walters. She married Ronald Ayers, he preceded her in death. Shirley retired from General Electric. She was a member of Eastern Star. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, and going to the casino. She was a lover of dogs.

She is survived by her sons, Rick (Deb Wolf) Rupel, Kenneth (Jacqui Caroll) and Kirk Smith, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, sister Sherry Hewitt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, daughter Christine Erli, and brother, Richard Walters.
