Shirley Charlene Sparks, 78, passed away December 23, 2015. She was born July 16, 1937 in Peru, IN to the late Charles and Dema Eberle. Shirley worked at Don Hall''s and Bill''s Palace as a server together for 45 years retiring in 2010 and a custodian at Indiana Tech for 10 years.

Surviving are her children, Debra (Paul) Liming, William (Jane) De Vinney, Robert (Sandra Ramsey) Sparks, Charles Sparks, Rose Sparks, siblings, Margaret Ellis, Myrtle "Pete" Boise, Alberta "Birdie" Graham, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and "Sparky" her dog, along with a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis W. Sparks in 1989 and 4 siblings, Laura, Dema, Mary, and Charles.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 30, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing 1 hour prior to service. There is also viewing Tuesday, December 29 at the funeral home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to Black Pine Animal Park or Fort Wayne Children''s Zoo. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
