Shirley J. Grunwald, 79, passed away July 10, 2021. Born in Anniston, Alabama, she was the daughter of  the late Jesse Wright and Olah (Hicks) Wright. She married Ronald Grunwald. He survives. Shirley worked as a supervisor in high end fashion stores. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and shopping.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Grunwald, sons, Tony Cole and Jody Donnelly, daughters, Tammy (Larry) Popoff and Tina Smith, seven grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jesse Wright, Jr. and Bobby Wright.

A celebration of life will be Friday, July, 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. with calling from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, She will be entombed  at Covington Memorial Gardens.
