Stephanie Irene Schoonmaker, 46, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in St. Petersburg, FL, Stephanie was a daughter of the late Paula (Soper) Baxter. Stephanie was a graduate of Florida Metropolitan University, earning her Bachelor's degree in Business. She married John Schoonmaker on December 31, 1997 and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Joshua Pooton, Julia Schoonmaker, Jordan Schoonmaker and Jessica Schoonmaker; brothers, Douglas Hawthorne and Steven Hawthorne; and sister, Elizabeth (Michael) Ellis. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. Burial in Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens, New Port Richey, Florida.
