Steven Ray Brewster, 69, died Friday, December 22, 2017. Born in Portland, he was a son to the late, Chester Brewster and Susan (Kunce) Brewster. He had worked for Mutual Security in the mailroom and NBD Bank doing deliveries earlier in life and more recently for Meijer in the meat department and as a greeter. Steven was an avid bowler and loved to sing karaoke.

He is survived by a daughter, Julie Monday of Fort Wayne; brothers, Larry (Deborah) Brewster of Fort Wayne, Ed (Sharon) Brewster of San Antonio, Texas and Mark Brewster of Fort Wayne; 4 grandchildren, Jordan Brewster, Alex Monday, Marco Talamantes and Leeann Monday; and 4 great grandsons, Angelo, Ivan, Leonardo and Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Talamantes, in 2001; his previous wife, Nancy Lahrman, in 2008; and a sister, Carol Hitt.

Funeral Service is 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
