Steven K. Paxson, 71, of Fort Wayne, passed away December 9.  He was born March 9, 1950 in Bluffton, Indiana to the late John and Jean (Hullinger) Paxson.

Steven was with Brooks Construction full time for 41 years, then after retiring, went back to work with them part time for another 9 years.  He was married to his beloved wife, Pamela (Colen) for 51 years, and together they raised two children.

Surviving are his wife, Pamela; children, Jeffrey L. Paxson, and Jill Paxson-Hofius (Jason Snyder); granddaughter, Grace LeCuyer; sister, Pamela (Tom) Gibson; nephew, Tyler (Megan) Gibson and their son, Sawyer.

Family will receive friends from 3:00pm - 7:00pm Thursday, December 16 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.  Funeral service will be Friday, December 17 at 11:00am, also at Covington Memorial.
