Susan Kay Nations, 57, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Covington Manor with her family by her side. Born in Valparasio, she was the daughter to the late Basil Keith and Lottie Eldora (Church) Armstrong. She attended the Bible Missionary Church and had worked in the surrounding nursing homes as a LPN. In her free time she loved to sew, quilt and read.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Frank Preston Nations; sons, Gregory Cook, Jr. of Bluffton and Paul (Natalie) Cook of Fort Wayne; step sons, John Nations of Fort Wayne and Robert Nations of Idaho; step daughter, Sara Nations of Idaho; sisters, Lottie (Michael) Lichtsinn of South Bend, Elizabeth (Andrew) Bork and Sandi (Robert) Sauceda both of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren, Greg, Payge, Kane, Tyler, Jenna and Sean; three step grandchildren, Jesse, Trenton and Tasha; and one great grandson, Bentlee.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
