Susan M. "Sue" Houser, 73 of Fort Wayne passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, at her home. Sue was born January 27, 1952, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Cook) Connett.

Sue enjoyed watching squirrels and birds from her window, reading, coins and the oceans of Florida. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them all. She was very outgoing and never knew a stranger.

Sue is survived by four children, Christina (Michael) Pranger, Greg (Melanie) Schambers, Kim (Brad) Thiele and Ray (Raina) Malott; 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two brothers, Chuck (Christina) Connett, Rick Connett and a sister, Lauri Burk. She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Trevor Schambers; a brother, Robert Connett and two sisters, Ruth Craig and Betty Jean Kelly.

There will be a memorial visitation Thursday July 3, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Memorial donations may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
