Susie Kay Parks, 55, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, December 12, 2011 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home with her daughter at her side. Born on September 29, 1955 in Fort Wayne she was a daughter of the late Robert and Addie Parks. She worked at Cintas for over 15 years.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Adrienne Eley of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, JaLeesa Parks and Shaquita (Romell) Brown, Marvin and Destiny Johnson; one sweet great granddaughter, Ci''Riyah; companion, Jerry Underwood; brothers, Timothy Parks of Indianapolis and Donald (Pam) Parks of Fort Wayne; sisters, Addie Greene, Khelia (Emerson) Nelson, Patricia Cummings, Geraldine (Kenny) Coker and Martha Parks all of Fort Wayne; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Parks.
Funeral Service is 1 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Getsemani United Methodist Church, 1101 Mckinnie Ave, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to the Parks Family.
