Susie Perez (74) of Fort Wayne passed away at her home on September 14, 2022. She was born September 4th, 1948 in Bluffton, Indiana, to the late Rafael Gonzalez and Concepcion (Bustos) Gonzalez. Susie was a hard working homemaker. Susie married Robert Perez on September 25, 1965 and spent 56 years together and raised five children. Susie loved yard sales, both going to and having them. Susie was an amazing cook and it wasn't uncommon  to have a household full of friends and family when she was making something special. Susie had a caring heart and will be missed by too many to count. Susie will be remembered by her children Robert Jr., Rafael, Manuel, Candy; grandchildren Melanie, Allysia, Alexis, Mario, Tony, Michael Jr., Imani, Manuel Jr., Juliano, Janeimy, Jade, Rico, Jackelyn, Miguel Jr.; siblings Lily and Nellie. In addition to her parents Susie was preceded in passing by her husband Robert, her son Michael, her grandsons Robert Jr. and Benito; and her siblings Vera, Mike, Charlie, Mary, Joe, and Christopher. Services will be Friday, September 23, 2022. Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2022 from 1-3 & 4-6 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Memorials maybe made to a food pantry of donors choice.
