Tanner Ray Dennis, 19, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014. He was born January 20, 1995 to Mark Dennis and Melanie Harris in Fort Wayne, IN. Tanner graduated from Homestead High School in 2013. Tanner had a huge heart and was passionate about football especially the Indianapolis Colts, dirt bikes, fishing, traveling and family vacations along with the animals that blessed his life, cats, Mr. Peaches (Tommy), Miss Tiger Lily, his "Ginormous" dog, Sally and his brothers "Hyper-Dog" Maverick. He was a man of style as he liked to be a sharp dressed young man!
Surviving are his parents, Mark (Ashlie Taivalkoski) Dennis, Melanie (David) Harris; brother, best friend and confidant, Trevor Dennis, brother, Greg Taivalkoski, sisters, Emeri Taivalkoski, Dani Harris, and Kacie Taivalkoski. Also surviving are his paternal grandparents, Norman and Arlene Dennis, maternal grandparent, Juva McInteer, grandparent, Marie C. Harris along with a host of most loved and caring cousins, aunts and uncles. Tanner was preceded in death by a grandfather, Carl H. McInteer Jr.
Calling will be Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. March 2, 2014 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with service at 5:00 p.m. Pastor Rick Hawks will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery Roanoke, Indiana. Preferred memorials to National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI)
