Terry Chilcote, 63, of Fort Wayne, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, December 25, 2010. He started this new journey at home with his family at his side. The Vietnam Navy Veteran attended Heartland Church and was a dietary manager at Life Care of Fort Wayne until 2000. Mr. Chilcote went on to earn an associate of applied science from Indiana Business College to be a health claims examiner. He is survived by his wife, Susan; sons, John, Jeremy and Chris (Denise) Chilcote all of Fort Wayne and Mike (Lori) Chilcote of Mass.; daughter, Terri (Phillip) Himelick of Fort Wayne; two grandchildren, Chelsey and Josiah; four brothers; and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delvia and Margaret Chilcote and one sister. Service is 7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling 2 hour prior. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
