Terry Lee Gerig, 69, passed away Tuesday July 18, 2017. He was born April 2, 1948 in Ft. Wayne, IN to the late Lester J. and Waneta I. Gerig. Terry retired in 2007 from BF Goodrich after 41 years. He bowled on the BF Goodrich bowling league and was a former member of the VFW post 5087 Antwerp, OH

Surviving are his children, Bobbie (Markus) Plewa, Terri (Steve) Kortokrax, Bre (Jack Eslick) Baughman, brothers, Lester (Vicki), Dean (Cheryl), Randy, Denny, Gerig, sisters, Connie Downs, Gloria (Oriean) Clayton, 4 grandchildren, Derrick, Stephanie, Kaylin, Lexi, and his special companion Rio. Terry was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Irene Gerig, and a brother-in-law Melvin Downs.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 22, 2017 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing 30 minutes prior to service. Pastor Max Begley will be officiating. There is also viewing Friday July 21 at the funeral home from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
