Thelma M. Cantrell, 95, passed away on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at the Lutheran Life Villages . She was born on March 19m 1927 in Olathe, KS, She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Katherine "Sturch" Musselman.

She was a cashier for 15 years at Hooks Drug Store. She liked cleaning house, dancing country and western and Christian music. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son: Steven Poyser of Ft. Wayne, IN., her daughter Linda L. Downey of Ft. Wayne, IN. Three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Dennis Poyser, daughter Sandra Poyser, four brothers and 1 sister.

Calling will be on Wednesday October 19, 2022 from 11:00 to 1:00  at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN 46804, Service will be at 1:00 P.M. and burial will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens.
