IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Theodore "Ted"
T. Braun
June 26, 1936 – March 20, 2022
Theodore "Ted" T. Braun was called to his heavenly home on March 20, 2022 at the age of 85. Ted was blessed in this life beyond measure. He was brought into the family of God through Holy Baptism and confirmed in his faith at the age of twelve.
He heard God's call to full time service in His Church. To fulfill this call, he attended Concordia High School and college at St. Paul, MN, Concordia Senior College at Fort Wayne, Concordia Teachers College at River Forest, II, and finished his Master's Degree at IPFW Fort Wayne.
On April 23, 1960 he was united in marriage to Donna Dressler. They shared a wonderful life for sixty years. She was called home to her savior's arms on Christmas morning 2018. She was Ted's greatest gift from God.
Ted and Donna spent their lives in service to Christ and His church. He taught at Emmanuel-St. Michael Lutheran School for forty years.
They were blessed with two children, Laura and Carl. Two of their other treasures are granddaughters, Nicole and Jamie Strouts.
During these years they were blessed beyond measure with great friends, neighbors, students and family.
He is survived by his two children, Laura (Robert) Strouts, and Carl (Jean) Braun; granddaughters, Nicole and Jamie; and sisters, June Sanchez, Ethel Day, and Carol Santelio.
With great joy Ted walked into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, and into the arms of his beloved Donna. Praise God for His wonderful blessings!
Funeral service is Friday, March 25, 2022 at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Road, with calling Thursday, March 24 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm, also at the church.
He will be laid to rest next to his wife, Donna, at Covington Memorial Gardens.
