Obituary

Theodore "Ted" Wayne Perry, 86, of Fort Wayne, died, Monday, November 19, 2012 at home. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, he was the son of the late Harrison and Marie (VanAvery) Perry. The WWII Navy veteran was a member of the V.F.W. #10006 and the Eagles in New Haven. He retired from ITT after 48 years of service. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends, fishing, camping, boating, bowling and swimming.

He is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Linda and Charles Ellis of Fort Wayne, Connie and Bill Landrum and Wendy and Paul Miller both of Decatur, and Roxana and Warren Imbody of Churubusco; brother, Harrison Perry; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Harriett Maxine Perry, on July 3, 2012; brothers, David, Douglas and Robert Perry; sisters, Carol Martin and Ruth Miller.

Funeral Service is 11 a.m., Monday, November 26, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Bob Arenobine officiating. Calling is also 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the V.A.
