Thomas S. Eifrid, 83, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Heritage Park Nursing Home. A life long resident of Fort Wayne, he was born to the late Michael and Bertha (Keuneke) Eifrid on September 19, 1941. Thomas retired from Navistar International Corporation, also known as International Harvester in 2000 after forty-one years of dedicated employment. Thomas, or Uncle Tom will be remembered for his quiet, calm demeanor and unique sense of humor. Thomas is survived by brothers, Ronald (Cheryl) and John Eifrid and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Ellenora Dewitt, Delores Stephenson and Mary Ann Finton; brothers, Martin, Joseph, Michael, Richard and Walter Eifrid.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804 with calling one hour prior.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 also at the funeral home.
