Thomas "Tim" James Wedge, 81, of Fort Wayne passed away in his home surrounded by the love of his family.  He was born June 18, 1940 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Maurice and Ruth (Wahlberg) Wedge.

Tim grew up in Evansville, IN where he graduated high school.  After graduating, he worked in the trucking industry for 50 years with Interstate, Roadway, P.I.E, Ryder/P.I.E., and Brothers Express, as a driver, manager and dispatcher, finally retiring in 2010.  On January 5, 1963, Tim married the love of his life, Nina (Westerfield) Wedge.  He was very involved with the Washington Township/Wallen baseball league coaching and for 5 years served as president.  Tim was also an avid fan of NASCAR and Major League Baseball.  A born patriot, he took pride in the flag in his front yard, and spent much time in his organized garage and took joy in caring for his lawn and "Buck" the deer.  Above all, Tim loved his family and worked tirelessly to make sure they were safe and happy.  He will be missed by many.

Tim will be forever remembered by his wife, Nina; boys, Eric and Ryan; grandchildren, Dane, Jackson, Carly, Evan, Ava, and Cash; brother, William; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his brother, Richard.

Family will receive friends from 3:00pm - 7:00pm Friday, October 8 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804.  Funeral service will be Saturday, October 9 at 11:00am, also at Covington Memorial.
