Thomas L. Meredith, 83, passed away at Parkview Randallia Hospital on Friday, November 22, 2019.  Born in Fort Wayne, Thomas was a son to the late, Edward W. Meredith and Lavona (Kitchen) Meredith.  Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired from Zolliner's after 41 ½ years of service as a piston manufacturer.

Thomas's hobbies included fishing with friends and family, watching western movies, and listening to old classic country hits. Thomas also enjoyed golfing, so much so that he even worked part-time McMillen Golf Course after his retirement from Zolliner's. Most importantly, Thomas was proud of his family, especially his children!

His two brothers survive, Ron Meredith and Gary Meredith, his children; Thomas, Jr. (Tammy) Meredith, Ed (Vicki) Meredith, Rosemarie Berryman, and stepchildren; Roger Baker, Brenda Baker and Linda Baker; five grandchildren, Kevin, Michelle, Christina, Kyle, and Tiffany; and five great-grandchildren; Trisha, Major, Savannt, Destiny, and Roxanna.

Thomas was preceded in death by first wife, Loretta (Treft) Meredith; second wife, Maxine (Miller) Meredith; siblings, Don Meredith, Katrina Holland and Barbara Meredith.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019, at 7:00 pm. Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling 4-7 p.m., before the service and military honors to follow.  Officiating will be Pastor Christina Ryan~Perkins.  Thomas will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.  Preferred memorials should be directed to the American Lung Association.
