Thomas Peter O'Brien, Jr., 72, of Fort Wayne passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020.  He was born September 7, 1947 in Pittsburgh, PA a son of the late Thomas and Mildred (Bishop) O'Brien.   He was minister of Crossroads Church and had been a substitute teacher known as the Irish Sub.  Surviving is his wife, Bonita; sons, Shawn (Lisa) O'Brien; Doug (Carissa) O'Brien; and Matthew O'Brien; brothers, Paul O'Brien and Michael (Roz) O'Brien; sister, Michelle (Frank) Erkel; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral is Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at 12:30 PM at Covington Funeral Home 8408 Covington Road with visitation one hour prior.   Visitation also 5 – 8 PM Monday, July 6, 2020 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.  Memorial donations may be made to Lake James Christian Assembly 1880 E 275 N Angola, IN 46703 or the Voice of the Martyrs (VOM) 1815 S E Bison Road Bartlesville, OK 74006
