Tommy D. Rodgers, 74 went home to his Lord and joined the love of his life Friday, May 11, 2018.  He was born November 9, 1943 in New Hope, AR to the late Therman and Stella Rodgers.  He was a member of The Chapel and travelled all over the United States.  He travelled extensively for his daughter Kristina "Rodgers" a Contemporary Christian Recording Artist.  He retired from Lockheed-Martin after 33 years as a Lab Technician.

Surviving are his children Rick (Gloria Bassett) Rodgers, Kim Bastian, Kristina (Bryan) Hayden, grandchildren, Nick, Marisa, Corey, Mia, Brennan, and Summer.  Tommy was preceded in death by his wife Susan in 2014, a grandson and 2 brothers.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing 1 hour prior to service.  There is also viewing Monday May 14 at the funeral home from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.  Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.  Preferred memorials are to Open Throttle Ministries or Visiting Nurse and Hospice.   www.covingtonmemorial.com
