Trevor Justin Patton, 34, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 27, 2015 into his Heavenly Father''s care. Born March 3, 1981, in Fort Wayne, Trevor graduated from Homestead High School and attended Ball State University. He was a member of Aboite Lutheran Church. As a Landscaper in his family''s business, Patton Landscaping Co. Inc., Trevor enjoyed working in the outdoors. Known for his love of family and ability to make others laugh, Trevor also had a special heart for animals.

Surviving are his mother, Sarah R. "Becky" (Banet) Patton of Fort Wayne; father, Richard G. "Rick" Patton of Fort Wayne; brothers, Kyle (Alexandra) Patton of Reston, VA and Travis (Amy) Patton of Fort Wayne; sisters, Amanda Patton of Fort Wayne and Chelsea Patton of Astoria, NY; grandmother, Patricia Patton of New Haven; uncles, David (Susan) Banet of Chester Springs, PA, Thomas (Susan) Banet of Potomac Falls, VA and Robin (Jane) Patton of New Haven; aunts, Kathy (Phil) Pearson of Conway, AZ and Peggy (Bill) Ellingwood of Fort Wayne; numerous cousins; nephew, Jake Patton; and his beloved cat, Mr. Ned Flanders.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herb and Kathlyn Banet; grandfather, Dick Patton; and uncle, Tony Patton.

A private memorial service will be held at a future date. Preferred memorials are to be directed to the SPCA or Aboite Lutheran Church - Celebrate Recovery Program.
