Trisha L. Smith, 63, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024.Born on May 13, 1961. Trisha was known for her love of the out- doors, particularly camping and fishing, and her cherished dog, Bella. She is survived by the love of her life, Rick Cady, her mother, Bernice Coon; in-laws, Charlie and Mary Myers; siblings, Sheila Brown, Rick (Christina) Coon, Sarah Short, step-siblings Rebecca (Farley) Purvis, James Jobe, Keith Dill. Children,  Amanda (Ryan) Nickell, Roger Lee (Shannon) Smith, Jeremy Smith, Ashleigh (Duncan) Jacobson, Jerome Cady; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Trisha was preceded in death by her father, George Coon; step-mother, Virginia Coon; brothers, Ronald L Coon and Todd Allen. A gathering to honor Trisha's life will be held at Covington Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home on Monday, July 22, 2024, with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm, followed by services at 1:00pm. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
