Veriene Lillian Nonneman, 96, died Thursday, November 8, 2018.  She was born on June 10, 1922 in Ft. Wayne to the late William Wiedelman and Lyda (Evard) Wiedelman.  She was the Treasurer at South Side High School.  Veriene was in   the WAVES during WWII in the United States Navy.  She was also a member of Grace St. John United Church of Christ and was the treasurer for the South Side High School.  Veriene loved her cats.

Surviving are her two children, Laura Nonneman and Philip Nonneman.  Veriene was preceded in death by her husband Marvin H. Nonneman in 1979 and a sister Beverly Gzybowski.
