Vernice M. Moore, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 at Lutheran Life Villages. Born in Greenwood, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late James and Grace Bosserman. She was a member of the Agape Church of the Brethren. She along with her late husband owned and operated Moores Blueberry Garden for over 40 years. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Delbert) Conrad of Hoagland; sons, Ronald (Barbara) Moore of Huntsville, Alabama and Max (Janice) Moore of Fort Wayne; brother, Maynard Bosserman of Fort Wayne; sister, Marinell Fry of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; and 16 wonderful great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Akin E. Moore, in 1998; brothers, James, Willis and John Bosserman; sister, Marvel Hoover; granddaughter, Nila Paulus; and an infant great grandson, Adam Scott Moore.
Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Agape Church of the Brethren, 11610 Lima Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also Friday 2-4 and 6-8 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. She will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials are to the church or Samaritan''s Purse.
