Veronica Jean Martin, 60, passed away, Saturday, September 1, 2018.  She was born August 26, 1958 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Paul and Eleanor McBride.  She worked for Fort Wayne National Bank for 21 years and then for Tri-State Maintenance Service for 2 years.  Veronica was a member of First Assembly of God Deaf Chapel.  Every day she would read her Bible and she enjoyed stamp collecting, flea markets, antique stores and strolling through Fresh Market.  Veronica's love was to go camping and hiking.

Veronica is survived by husband, Leonard Anthony Martin; sisters-in-law; Marcia (Mike) Bramkamp, Sonja (Daryl) Dafforn, and Eileen Layton.

Veronica was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Daniel Layton.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with viewing two hours prior to service.  She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to First Assembly of God Deaf Chapel or Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana.
