Vickie Rodemeyer-Meyers, 74 passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 17, 2026. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Richard and Marjorie Rodemeyer.

Vickie worked nine years as the AFL-CIO Labor Liaison to the United Way of Allen County as Director of Labor and Community Services. She was the first female president of Graphic Communication Internation Union, Local 17M, which she joined during her 30-year career at Lincoln Printing Corporation. She was also employed within several school corporations with her love of coaching. She also officiated high school and college volleyball and track and field.

She had a passion for volunteerism within church and non-profit organizations. She studied at New Haven High School and Indiana University, Fort Wayne. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was a member of the Trinity Chapter 576 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a sister, Tonda (Kenneth) Robertson, several nephews and many friends. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place.

At her request, memorial gifts may be directed to Emmanuel Lutheran Church Food Bank, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or The United Way of Allen County.
